10th Convoy from Russia to SE Ukraine FFM

The humanitarian convoy from Russia brought the Ukrainian southeast 1,500 tons of cargo. In Donetsk and Lugansk in full swing unloading vehicles with Russian humanitarian aid for the Donbass people. Less than an hour ago, two columns with 90 cars in each arrived in the capital of the DNI and the LC. It is expected that they will return home today.

White KamAZ trucks brought food, medicines, building materials and holiday gifts for children. Peaceful shipments confirmed and the Red Cross that accompany Christmas convoy, and experts of the OSCE, which together with the customs and border guards of both countries examined the contents of the trucks at the border.

Tenth convoy sent to Ukraine. More than 180 vehicles, as before, were divided into two groups. One goes to Lugansk, and the other part of the column through the checkpoint "Matveev Kurgan" moving toward Ukrainian Donetsk.

Driven about a thousand tons of humanitarian aid - building materials, fuel, food, medicines, but most importantly - Christmas trees and gifts, which make up almost a third of the shipment.

"New Year's gifts, of course, designed for children who are also in need of a holiday, and want this holiday," - said the representative of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia Vasily butcher.

Today, together with the Ministry of Emergency humanitarian aid into the mission assistance in Donbass driven by employees of the Russian Red Cross - more than 80 tons, food and medicine.
"First of all, we will inspect the remote areas, villages, because the situation is most severe, there is a real humanitarian catastrophe. We know of dozens of elderly deaths from hunger, cold, and first of all, we need to help these people," - said a spokesman for the Russian Red Cross Andrey Razumovsky.

Before leaving the car belonging to the humanitarian column passed inspection. All of them are good, breakdowns on the road will not happen. Behind the wheel are experienced drivers. At checkpoints "Matveyev-Kurgan" and "Donetsk" trucks inspected by both Russian and Ukrainian customs and border guards.

"All products that are on the loading platform, the relevant application documents.", - told reporters the head of the press service of the USP FCS Ryan Farukshin.

Column of the Russian Emergencies Ministry will arrive in Lugansk in roughly an hour in Donetsk - hour and a half. They immediately began unloading humanitarian aid. And as soon as it is completed, all the cars will come back to Russia.
